It's the 2nd album from Apollo Noir "CHAOS ID". From the aftermath of Paris attacks in November 2015 when he urgently composed his first album A/N, to the disenchanted dream of an eternal utopist today, a persistent chaos is tormenting the course of APOLLO NOIR’s creative impulses.
Remi Sauzedde indeed opted for an accurate alias… for when he places himself under the auspices of Apollo, the God of arts and music, our times strongly object their darkness.
A fan of sci-fi and cyberpunk literature, with CHAOS ID Apollo Noir reflects on the loss of identity marks, pertaining to religions, beliefs or origins, but also to the core essence of our soul and body through transhumanism.
There is no featurings here and the only invited voices are of the humanoid type, fulfilling powerful melodies and flirting with a certain idea of pop music (The Fall or CHAOS ID). While the producer fortifies his intricate avant-gardiste touch, this eventually builds new gateways to his music. Encouraged by the infinite possibilities of modular synthesis and still under the influence of a strong punk / hardcore / noise culture, he’s carrying the listener through his very own interpretation of the various electronic music subgenres that shaped his education, be it post rave, IDM, ambient or drum & bass.

An exploration of contrasts and a fascination for aesthetic collisions, creating a chaos of great delicacy, this record definitely stands out in a world of cultural standardization.
